No doubt there's going to be a few out there that disagree with me on this is issue, but I have to say that wordpress is about as good as a mountain of doggydo on a wet and windy morning.
What the hell is the issue with it inserting line breaks and paragraph tags willy nilly? So far in a post, which I've just had to take back off the front of the blog, it has broken the display of code within code tags, deciding that it wants to insert empty paragraphs throughout the code and also to displace the location of the closing code tag, thus ensuring that the post breaks.
If that wasn't enough for the mountain of do, it also has taken to hiding any content that requires special characters to be displayed rather than treated as code, such as the character code for less-than. Not only that it likes to insert a line-break after its omission.
Here's hoping that someone out there knows a way to fix this before I waste any more time or just scrap it and try a different blog script.
A test to check how the styling works on various elements such as
blockquotes like this one which is only intended to be used for illustrative and experimental purposes at this time.
None of this works We'll see how all of this works using the WP templating system.
Such things as images and lists should be fairly straight forward, but

- the default setup is
- otherwise there could be hidden
- issues that we need to reveal
- in order to properly style this thing
We may also need to post up some code for people to view, such as * { margin: 0; padding: 0; }
this all needs to be styled 
We also need to check how our abbrs, our acronyms (such as png) and our defining instances such as dfn are going to work, both from a visual and accessibility standpoint.
This category is where I'll write all about the infrequent work I'll put into making this site look better than a bag of rusty spanners. It's also where I'll test a few things. If you're lucky I'll hide it all!
That's right, this is an unfinished symphony - if you can live with that and various bits and pieces that don't work being scattered all over the place then you're more than welcome to stick around.
