Screenshot of Firefox's window resize bug in action - click the image to view a larger version. As you can see, both the horizontal and vertical scrollbars are missing due to reducing the window size below the minimum needed for the statusbar to display the currently active status bar icons.

Thanks for posting this problem (and thanks to Google for helping me find the post). I completely agree that this bug is higher severity than "Minor". The behavior makes Firefox look flaky and unstable.

Armed with the information you provided, I "fixed" the problem by reducing the number of days weather I was displaying in ForecastFox extension.

If anyone reading this knows how to influence the priority given to a Firefox bug, I urge you to take action.

I have the same problem with FF2.0. The problem seems to be with the extensions I'm using on firefox. I had a weather forecast extension that was displayed at the bottom of the screen which took up pretty much the entire portion of the status bar at the bottom. I disabled it and tried resizing, and both horizontal and vertical scrollbars work. Could this be the fix?
